The accepted standard in Europe for the wire rope in the gearless drives is 6.5 mm. In order to cover the Iranian market, the GEM Italia redesigned this GLS26 and added the gearless with 8mm wire rope to its product portfolio.

This drive is suitable for elevator projects with a capacity of 6 to 8 people, and its roping method is 1/2. This drive covers a speed up to 1.6 m/s.
